Meet your photographer
When I left Venezuela, the photos were the one thing I could take with me. And what I noticed years later is that I don't remember the photos themselves. I remember how I felt when they were taken. That's what a photo does: it gives you the door, and the feeling walks you back through it.
So my job on your wedding day starts before the camera. I make sure you're calm and actually having fun, because that's the version of you that shows up in the pictures, and that's the version you'll want to go back to in twenty years. I talk to you the whole time, about ten minutes you forget I'm there, and in English or Spanish, whichever your family speaks.
What i actually do
beside taking photos
In about then minutes I can tell whether you need me to talk more or to disappear, and I do whichever one you need. During engagement sessions I get you moving and laughing early, so by the wedding having around feels like having one more friend there.
My photos look like film because that's how I learned to see photos: my dad shot on rolls, printed them, and I spent my childhood going through those albums. Warm, a little soft, skin that looks like skin. If you want the trendy edit of the year, I'm probably not your photographer, and that's okey. And yes, if your reception has an hora loca, I already know what's coming and I'll be in the middle of it.

My daughter. She's the reason I show up to every wedding with this much energy and this much heart. Since she arrived I know, in a way I didn't before, what it means to hold a photo of a moment that's already gone. So I take care of my couples so you can keep those candid moments that you want to see in ten years.

One of my biggest weaknesses is cookies, especially lemon ones. In Pittsburgh, cookie tables are famous and delicious—I secretly joke that it’s one of the reasons I became a photographer.
